Brave Art
Brave Art in Ipswich offers different types of creative activities for neurodivergent people and people with learning disabilities. The sessions provide accessible art activities led by artists, helping people express themselves in a supportive environment.
There is no pressure to take part in the activities. You can simply attend, socialise, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
There is also a table full of games, and anyone is welcome to bring their own if they wish. With calm background music and drinks available throughout the evening, it’s a welcoming and sensory friendly environment.
Planned activities include:
• Gaming evenings
• Movie nights
• Quiz nights
• Drawing and sketching
• Discos and parties

Baylham Farm
Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm offers SEND-friendly farm experiences in Suffolk, including sensory friendly animal activities such as lamb cuddling sessions.
These sessions are quieter and more relaxed, making them ideal for families looking for autism-friendly days out near Ipswich.
Annabelle from our care team attended a session with one of the lovely ladies we support, and they had a wonderful time together.
Annabelle shared: “They were amazing with us, such a wholesome farm. We even got to watch a lamb being born!”
Tickets must be booked in advance via their website. The next session will be in the Easter holidays, book now!

Jump In
Jump In AirHop Trampoline Park offers SEN sessions in Ipswich for people with autism and additional needs.
These quiet trampoline sessions are less crowded, with calmer music and a more relaxed atmosphere, making them a great example of sensory friendly activities for children and adults with autism.

When: Every Monday
Time: 6–7pm
Free tickets are available for care providers (ID required).
Christchurch Park
Christchurch Park is one of the most popular outdoor activities in Ipswich and a great example of a calm, sensory friendly outdoor space in Suffolk.
With open green spaces, walking paths, and wildlife, it’s ideal for a peaceful day out, picnic, or quiet time in nature. The park also offers tennis courts, table tennis, bowling greens, and outdoor gym equipment.
