Since launching as a care agency in 2017, Ocala Healthcare has evolved. While Ocala Recruitment continues to support care providers with their permanent and temporary staffing needs, Ocala Healthcare now delivers regulated CQC care services with one clear mission – to help people live a life well-lived.
Since August 2020, we’ve supported adults to remain in their own homes with care that builds confidence and delivers consistent, high-quality support.
Our care services
Ocala Healthcare currently delivers two core services:
- 24/7 home care
- Community Response
Why do we care for people in their own homes?
Our decision to provide care in people’s homes stems from our unique combination of care delivery and recruitment experience. We know how crucial it is to offer consistency – having the same carers day in, day out – and how much that matters to the people we support.
Because we recruit based on shared values, we’re able to match individuals with carers who go beyond the basics. Our approach empowers people to do more than simply live comfortably – it allows them to live fully. Through consistent, quality and reliable care, we support people in building confidence and embracing opportunities.
How do we deliver quality care?
Quality at Ocala Healthcare is driven by our values. Every decision, at every level of the organisation, is shaped by the question: “How can I positively affect the quality of care?” This mindset is embedded in our culture.
Who do we care for?
24/7 home care
We specialise in supporting adults with:
- Learning disabilities
- Cerebral palsy
- Acquired brain injuries
- Multiple mental health conditions
Our goal is to help people with complex needs live well and independently in their own homes.
Community response
Our Community Response team supports care services across Suffolk through the local authority. We respond to crises – often preventing hospital admissions – by stepping in when people with learning disabilities are in a heightened or vulnerable state. Our work gives social workers and care providers the breathing space to plan longer-term, sustainable care solutions.
What do we do?
24/7 home care
Our team provides personal care and practical support – from medication and shopping to help with daily routines. But the true value lies in our consistent presence, which builds trust and rapport. This in turn helps people develop confidence, overcome self-imposed limitations, and embrace life’s possibilities.
Community response
We provide short-notice support to services in crisis, enabling essential crisis avoidance. Our team’s swift response allows other professionals to focus on planning long-term care strategies.
When do we provide care?
24/7 home care
We deliver care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – including waking nights and sleep-ins.
Community response
Our crisis response team is available 7am to 9pm, 365 days a year.
