The first of our core values at Ocala Healthcare is to always give your best. It’s simple – we always do our best. We don’t ask for more, but we expect nothing less.
Whether we’re covering a shift, processing payroll, or simply answering the phone, we hold ourselves accountable as employers, service providers, and individuals to give 100% every time.
What we can control
There are two things we say are always within our control – no matter the circumstances:
- We will always do our best
- We will always be transparent and honest
These principles are non-negotiable. They guide everything we do and help build trust – not only with those we care for, but with our colleagues, clients, and wider community.
High expectations – balanced with support
We ask our care team to meet the same standard – to bring the very best of themselves to each shift in pursuit of outstanding care. But we also recognise the importance of balance.
We don’t expect the impossible. We believe in work–life balance and support it wholeheartedly. As Adam often says: “Say no to 100 shifts – just please turn up for the one that you said you would.”
That’s the ethos. We don’t need people to overextend themselves – just to be dependable, present, and excellent in the time they do give.
Doing what you can – giving all you’ve got
We understand that working for a care agency means doing what you can, when you can. Flexibility is part of the model.
But when you are at work, giving your best matters. Every interaction is a chance to make someone’s day – or even their life – that little bit better.
Raising the bar for care employment
At Ocala Healthcare, we are committed to providing the best care employment possible, while supporting care providers to meet the CQC’s expectations of outstanding care.
To achieve that, we all have to live by this principle – to always give our best.
