Happy New Year! Change of Career?

First of all, Happy New Year from all of us at Ocala Healthcare!

A time of year that we make promises to ourselves that we can never keep. Chocolate is for life, not just for Christmas. But it is also a time of year where people do make genuine life changing decisions such as changing jobs and even bigger than that, changing career entirely!

If you are considering changing your career, then why not consider healthcare? Many people in the industry would say they fell into healthcare, me included! Why do people not talk about working in healthcare more?! When I left school, I had never considered the prospect.

I have worked in several industries, including construction, hospitality and banking. I can categorically say that none of these compare even closely to how passionate I am about working in healthcare and the opportunity it has given me to not only develop personally but to help others daily.

Being passionate about what I do is the most important thing to me. If you are are looking for a career that gives you a real sense of purpose, allows you to positively affect peoples lives daily and gives you the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, then look no further than the care industry.
